Born in Greece, in 1972, I studied medicine, specialized in Pediatrics and I then specialized in Neonatology and Neonatal Intensive care. I had a Master of Sciences in Methodology of Medical research. Later, I specialized in Pediatric Pneumo-Allergology by working in clinics and following courses in Belgium, France and England. Since 2017, I have been working in Paris as a Pediatric Allergist.
I am a junior doctor in the Department of Surgery at the main hospital in Barbados. I have a keen interest in Surgery and its future developments. Research is definitely something I look forward to explore. So far, I am proud of my role as a peer reviewer for the International Journal of Surgery Case Reports, the BMJ, just to name a few. I've written a few case reports during the course of my medical career that unfortunately weren't published. I am grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with other researchers or research enthusiasts like myself in order to achieve this goal of mine. Thank you. Please feel free to reach out as I am also willing to get involved in research projects remotely. Thank you again.
