I am Roshanak Ghods, an Associate professor of Persian Medicine and faculty member at Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS) in Tehran, Iran. I have been active in Persian Medicine for 15 years across three main areas - training PhD students, conducting applied research on diseases like hypertension and diabetes and developing diagnostic tools. I also see patients, combining Persian and Chinese medicine approaches.

I founded and served as Dean of the Persian Medicine Department at IUMS for 3 years before stepping down to focus more on research and scholarly work.

I am highly interested in international research collaborations within my field. I am excited Lippincott provides opportunities to connect with colleagues globally. My goals are to produce higher quality papers with guidance from this community, identify appropriate journals to publish in and reduce my current 7+ month average time from submission to publication.
