Troubles in changing the corresponding author.
We are in the process of submitting a revised manuscript for our work. However, we are encountering a technical issue while attempting to change the corresponding author and seeking your assistance.

Thanks for your question. It looks like the your corresponding author has 2 emails linked to a single ORCID (the email in Figure 1 and the email in Figure 2), and an existing Editorial Manager account with the email in Figure 2.
Editorial Manager will not allow for 2 accounts with the same email, or allow 2 accounts to resolve to the same ORCID. This results in the error in Figure 4.
The solution would be to select the author in Figure 2 with the ORCID that has already been registered into Editorial Manager. The corresponding author can update their record in Editorial Manager to reflect a new email address if necessary.
