As an assistant professor at the University of Health Sciences in the Department of Immunology, my primary focus revolves around three main areas: vaccines, autoimmune diseases, and gastroenterological disorders.
Firstly, I am deeply involved in research and teaching related to vaccines. This encompasses a wide range of activities, from studying the mechanisms of vaccine action to developing novel vaccine formulations. Understanding the immune response to vaccines and exploring strategies for improving vaccine efficacy are crucial aspects of my work.
Secondly, autoimmune diseases are another key area of interest for me. These conditions, where the immune system mistakenly attacks the body's own tissues, present complex challenges both in terms of diagnosis and treatment. My research endeavors aim to unravel the underlying mechanisms of autoimmune diseases and identify potential therapeutic targets to alleviate their impact on patients' lives.
Lastly, I am actively engaged in investigating gastroenterological disorders. This encompasses a spectrum of conditions affecting the gastrointestinal tract, including inflammatory bowel diseases, irritable bowel syndrome, and gastrointestinal infections. Through my research, I seek to deepen our understanding of the pathophysiology of these disorders and contribute to the development of more effective diagnostic tools and treatment strategies.
