Mamta Java currently serves as the Manager, Editorial Strategy and Publishing Policy, for Wolters Kluwer Health (Medknow Publications). Medknow is a global player in scholarly open-access publishing and one of the largest Open Access publishing services providers. It publishes nearly 500 medical journals in partnership with more than 450 esteemed international societies and associations. In this role, Mamta oversees the development and implementation of editorial policies for Medknow Journals. She manages and strategizes journal pre-assessments and applications to key indexes, for Medknow as well as Lippincott Williams and Wilkins Publications. Prior to joining Wolters Kluwer in 2012, Mamta served for 3 years as a Senior Associate, Journal Management for Elsevier Clinical Journal Portfolio, at Cenveo Publisher Services (Knowledge Works Global Limited), a leading global provider of editorial, production, e-Learning, and hosting solutions for every stage of the content lifecycle. Academically, Mamta is a Gold Medalist Graduate in Zoology, a Postgraduate in Biomedical Technology, and holds a Post Graduate Diploma Degree in Clinical Research.

Marina is a Product Marketing Specialist at Wolters Kluwer, one of the world’s foremost publishers of medical, nursing and allied health journals. Specifically, Marina is responsible for the marketing and promotion of a portfolio of several Open Access journals on the topics of surgery, dermatology and oncology among others.

Expert: Author Services Duncan MacRae is the Director, Editorial Strategy and Publishing Policy for Wolters Kluwer, one of the world’s foremost publishers of medical, nursing and allied health journals. In this role, Duncan oversees the development and implementation of editorial policies followed by journals in the Lippincott and Medknow imprints. In addition, he works with a portfolio of editorial service providers to assist our society partners in achieving their strategic goals. Prior to joining Wolters Kluwer Health, Duncan established a 15-year career, providing editorial management for the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, PriMed and the International Congress of Neuropathology.
