This is a representation of how your post may appear on social media. The actual post will vary between social networks

Publishing a document is very similar to publishing a post. You can access the document authoring page by clicking ‘Create’ then click ‘Create a document’ in the top navigation bar.

You will be taken to the “My Documents” page where you can see all the documents you have already created and their progress status. You’ll also see a little green dot on each piece of published content, and an orange dot for posts in draft.

Click on the green “+ New Document” button. Here you can select ‘Document’ if you would like to publish a PDF, or ‘Slideck’ if you would like to convert a Powerpoint/Keynote file. After you select the appropriate format, you will be able to browse your computer for the file you would like to upload (make sure it’s in .pdf format otherwise it won’t be accepted).

NB: A4 is the ideal size for document publications.

Once it has finished processing, you will be able to give it an introduction and add it to any relevant channels or rooms in which you would like it to appear. Don’t forget to hit ‘Save’ as you go!

You can publish your document immediately by clicking ‘Publish Now’ or schedule it by pressing the ‘Schedule’ button. 

How can I publish a document in a room?

To post a document in a room, simply select your desired room in the options panel on the right, under the subheading “Rooms”, then click the "Create" button in the bottom right corner of the room's hero image. Proceed to create a document like you normally would by entering the authoring page by clicking 'Document'.
